Glue transfer can handle complex substrates and is widely used in the surface decoration of aluminum alloy doors and windows, anti-theft doors, steel and wooden furniture, filing cabinets and other products.
Wood glue transfer is a process of transferring wood grain pattern to the surface of other materials, the main steps are as follows:1、Substrate treatment: The surface of the substrate to be transferred (such as aluminum, metal, plastic, etc.) is cleaned, degreased and other treatments to remove grease, dust and impurities to ensure a clean, flat surface to ensure the stability and durability of the transfer effect.
2、Primer treatment: spray the primer on the cleaned surface of the substrate, and then bake and cure, so that the primer forms a uniform and firm coating on the surface of the substrate, providing a good adhesion basis for wood grain transfer.
3、Brushing glue: Brush the surface of the workpiece with appropriate thickness of a layer of special transfer glue on the sprayed primer, requiring the glue to be evenly brushed without bubbles, and the concentration of the glue to be moderate.
4、Laying transfer paper: according to the shape and size of the workpiece cut transfer paper, wood grain side down on the surface of the workpiece brushed with glue, to ensure that the transfer paper and the surface of the workpiece close fit, to drive out possible air bubbles.
5、Baking: The workpiece with the transfer paper is sent into the oven for baking, under certain temperature and time conditions, so that the glue is cured, and at the same time, the wood grain pattern in the transfer paper is better transferred to the coating on the surface of the substrate under the action of the glue. The baking temperature and time are adjusted according to the characteristics of the substrate, the depth of the grain and the performance of the oven, etc. Usually the transfer temperature is 160-180℃ and the time is 5-8 minutes.
6、Cooling and Cleaning: After baking, remove the workpiece and allow it to cool to room temperature, then carefully remove the transfer paper and clean the surface of the workpiece to remove any glue or paper residue that may remain, completing the wood-grain adhesive transfer process.
