The principle of wood grain sublimation machine
The principle of wood grain sublimation machine is based on thermal sublimation transfer technology.
Ink printing: First, through gravure printing, the thermal sublimation composite ink is printed on paper or PET film to form a wood grain pattern.
High temperature and high pressure treatment: The transfer paper or film printed with wood grain pattern is closely bonded to the surface of the workpiece after powder spraying or electrophoretic painting, usually using thermal transfer glue or by vacuum-pumping and other methods to achieve close contact. Then, the wood grain sublimation machine is used to provide high temperature (generally at 160-220 ° C) and high pressure conditions, so that the ink molecules absorb heat into a gaseous state.
Ink penetration: Due to the density of the transfer paper and film, ink molecules in the gas phase can only penetrate into the gap of the coating. Under the action of high temperature and pressure, after a certain time (5-20 minutes), the ink molecules fully penetrate into the coating 40-60 μm, so that the ink and the coating are fully combined.
Cooling setting: After the completion of penetration, stop heating and let the workpiece cool naturally or by forced cooling. During the cooling process, the ink molecules in the gas phase are condensed and become solid again, stably attached to the coating, forming a clear and realistic wood grain texture, so that the transfer process is complete.
Wood Grain Effect Machine
Wood grain effect machine insists of one set of heating oven, two sets of working table,one set of electrical control system, one set of heating system.
Two sets of working table is optional, single vacuum suction table is suitable for aluminum or other metal profiles, tubes etc, silicon membrane suction table is suitable for aluminum or other metal sheets, panels etc.
Same machine could be used for both of profiles and sheets.
Basic treatment is powder coating, must have powder coating then could do wood grain effect.
