Working principle of ultrasonic film sealing welding machine:

Ultrasonic film sealing welding machine is a device that uses the frictional heat caused by ultrasonic vibration to achieve material welding. Its working principle can be summarized as the following steps:

1. The ultrasonic generator generates high-frequency electrical energy and converts it into mechanical energy of the corresponding frequency.

2. Mechanical energy is converted into ultrasonic vibration through a piezoelectric ceramic converter, typically at a frequency of 20 kHz.

3. Ultrasonic vibration amplifies the amplitude through a welding horn (amplifier).

4. The welding horn transmits vibration to the welding head (welding mold), causing it to generate high-frequency mechanical vibration.

5. The workpiece directly contacts the welding joint through a contact angle or contact surface. Due to the uneven surface texture or protrusions of the workpiece, it first contacts at one or several points.

6. High frequency mechanical vibration causes high-frequency mechanical friction at the contact points of the workpiece, compared to the internal friction between molecules inside the workpiece.

7. High frequency mechanical friction causes stirring heat and conducts it to the interior of the workpiece.

Due to the effect of stirring heat, the surface temperature of the workpiece increases, and if it is a thermoplastic material, it softens.

Under the action of frictional heat and pressure, the molecular spacing inside the workpiece gradually decreases and fuses with each other over time, thus achieving the purpose of welding.

10. Stop ultrasonic vibration, lower the welding head, cool the workpiece, solidify the welding point, and complete the welding.
